Vintech Audio has been building professional-grade outboard gear in the USA since 1997, earning a reputation as one of the most faithful interpreters of the classic Neve 1073 circuit. The flagship X73 microphone preamplifier is a fully discrete, Class A, transformer-balanced design, and Vintech has wound its own transformers and inductors in-house for over 15 years using precision Japanese coil-winding equipment, with output transformers modeled directly on the original Marinair designs. That commitment to component-level control is what puts Vintech consoles and preamps in the signal chains of engineers like Chuck Ainlay, Eddie Kramer, and Jim Gaines, alongside artists from Santana and Jimi Hendrix to Mark Knopfler.
