AEA N28 Mid-Field Stereo Ribbon Microphone

The AEA N28 is a compact stereo ribbon microphone designed to deliver a stunningly natural stereo image in a mid-field configuration. Built with two matched bidirectional ribbon elements in a fixed Blumlein array, the N28 makes it easy to capture detailed, phase-coherent stereo recordings with a single mic. Its compact footprint, active electronics, and refined tonality make it ideal for overheads, room miking, strings, and more—offering immersive stereo sound without the complexity of multi-mic setups.
