The Apogee Symphony 64 PCIe Card is the core hardware component of Apogee’s Symphony System, providing up to 64 channels of 24-bit/192kHz digital I/O and serving as the low-latency link between a Mac computer and Apogee’s professional converters, including the Symphony I/O, Rosetta 800, Rosetta 200, AD-16X, and DA-16X (when equipped with an X-Symphony option card). Controlled through Apogee’s Maestro software and compatible with any Core Audio application, it delivers latency as low as 1.8ms from analog in to analog out and supports advanced routing via VBus (up to 32 virtual channels between Core Audio applications) and SBus (up to 32 channels between two Symphony-equipped Macs), with two cards installable for up to 128 simultaneous channels. Note that this is a legacy product from the Mac Pro tower era rather than current production, so it’s best described as used/legacy gear if positioning it for a modern buyer.
