Audient ASP880 8-Channel Mic Preamp with ADC

The Audient ASP880 is an 8-channel mic preamp and multi-format digital expander that adds professional-grade conversion and front-end quality to any audio interface. Eight Audient Console mic preamps—the same discrete hybrid design found in the ASP8024-HE console—deliver ultra-low noise and low distortion with classic analogue warmth across the full 60dB gain range. Eight ADC insert points allow outboard EQ, compression, or other processing to be patched in before the analog-to-digital conversion stage, and the ASP880 can also operate as a standalone A/D converter by bypassing the mic preamps entirely. Variable impedance per channel enables ribbon mic optimization, and a variable high-pass filter (25Hz–250Hz) provides pre-conversion signal shaping. Digital output is available simultaneously over ADAT, AES, and S/PDIF.
