The same EVO preamp design found across the EVO lineup combines analog signal quality with pinpoint digital gain control down to the decibel, and the JFET instrument input circuit is voiced to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier for harmonically rich direct recording of guitar, bass, and keys. USB bus-powered and just 14cm (5.5 inches) wide, the EVO 4 is equally at home in a home studio, on the road, or on a content creator’s desk. Audio loopback with a dedicated mixer application makes it straightforward for podcasters and streamers to combine sources and route audio between software.
