Audient iD14 MKII 10-In/6-Out USB-C Audio Interface

The Audient iD14 MKII is a 10-in/6-out USB-C audio interface built around two fully discrete Audient Console mic preamps—the same all-discrete high-grade op-amp design found in the ASP8024-HE recording console—delivering 68dB of gain range with ultra-low noise, low distortion, and classic analogue warmth. Advanced 32-bit AD/DA converters with 126dB of dynamic range provide clean, precise conversion for both tracking and mixing, and ADAT and S/PDIF digital input support up to 8 additional channels of expansion for larger sessions. A JFET instrument input, four line outputs across two assignable speaker pairs, a headphone amp capable of driving loads up to 600 Ohms, and a configurable iD button for assigning monitoring functions round out a feature set that extends well beyond a standard two-preamp interface. Bus-powered via USB (USB 3.0 required), the iD14 MKII delivers full +48V phantom power per channel even without an external power supply, and at just over 6.7 inches wide in an all-metal chassis with hand-milled aluminium knobs, it works equally well as a permanent desktop unit or a portable recording rig.

Key Features

  • 2 Audient Console mic preamps — fully discrete, all-discrete high-grade op-amp design from the ASP8024-HE recording console; 68dB gain range; ultra-low noise and distortion with classic analogue warmth; no emulation—true analog console preamp circuit on the desktop
  • 126dB dynamic range converters (32-bit) — advanced 32-bit AD/DA technology for clean, precise conversion; wide dynamic range for capturing subtle details and identifying mix issues accurately
  • JFET instrument input — harmonically rich circuit replicates the input stage of a classic valve amplifier; provides an ideal analog foundation for guitar and bass direct recording
  • ADAT and S/PDIF digital input — expand channel count by up to 8 additional inputs via optical; supports ADAT and S/PDIF for flexible integration with external preamps and converters
  • 4 line outputs (2 speaker pairs) — connect two sets of studio monitors for A/B comparison; or use the additional outputs to route audio to an external headphone amp for artist distribution
  • Headphone amp — drives headphones up to 600 Ohms; dual headphone connections (1/4 in. and 1/8 in.) for two simultaneous listeners
  • Configurable iD button — assign any advanced monitoring function: DIM, CUT, Polarity Reverse, Mono Sum, Talkback, or Cue Mix monitoring; customizable to individual workflow preferences
  • Talkback — use a USB microphone or the computer’s built-in mic as a dedicated talkback source, freeing up mic preamp inputs for recording
  • Software mixer — configure ultra-low latency direct monitoring, create independent artist headphone mixes, and save layout presets from a single application
  • Audio loopback — capture mic and computer audio simultaneously and create custom audio feeds for streaming, podcasting, and content creation
  • USB bus powered — no external power supply required; delivers true +48V phantom power per channel even when bus powered; USB 3.0 connection required
  • All-metal construction — hand-milled aluminium knobs; just over 6.7 in. wide; smoke grey finish; compact footprint for desktop and portable use
