Audient iD24 10-In/14-Out USB-C Audio Interface

The Audient iD24 is a 10-in/14-out USB-C audio interface built around two fully discrete Audient Console mic preamps—the same all-discrete, high-grade op-amp circuit design found in the ASP8024-HE recording console—delivering 68dB of gain with ultra-low noise, low distortion, and classic analogue warmth. Advanced 32-bit AD/DA converters achieve 126.5dB of dynamic range, and balanced inserts on each channel allow outboard processors to be patched in before analog-to-digital conversion—with insert returns also providing direct ADC access for print-backs and line-level sources. ADAT and S/PDIF optical I/O supports up to 8 channels of digital expansion for larger tracking sessions, and three programmable function buttons provide quick access to monitoring functions including Speaker Switching, Talkback, Polarity Invert, and Mono Sum. Bus-powered via USB-C (USB 3.0 required), the iD24 delivers true +48V phantom power per channel even without an external supply, and an all-metal chassis with hand-milled aluminium knobs keeps the build quality in line with the professional feature set.

Key Features

  • 2 Audient Console mic preamps — fully discrete, all-discrete high-grade op-amp design from the ASP8024-HE recording console; 68dB gain range; ultra-low noise and distortion with classic analogue warmth
  • 126.5dB dynamic range converters (32-bit) — advanced 32-bit AD/DA technology for clean, precise conversion; wide dynamic range for accurate capture, playback, and mixing decisions
  • Balanced inserts — integrate outboard EQ, compression, or effects into the signal chain before analog-to-digital conversion; insert returns also provide direct ADC access for print-backs and line-level source integration
  • JFET instrument input — harmonically rich circuit replicates the input stage of a classic valve amplifier; ideal for guitar and bass direct recording
  • ADAT and S/PDIF optical I/O — optical input and output supporting ADAT and S/PDIF; expand I/O by up to 8 channels for drums, full band, and larger tracking sessions
  • 4 line outputs (2 speaker pairs) — connect two sets of studio monitors for A/B comparison between systems; or route additional outputs to an external headphone amp for artist distribution
  • Headphone amp — drives headphones up to 600 Ohms; dual connections (1/4 in. and 1/8 in.) for two simultaneous listeners
  • 3 programmable function buttons — assign Speaker Switching, Talkback, Polarity Invert, or Mono Sum to any of the three F buttons for fast, single-button session control
  • Talkback — use any USB microphone or the computer’s built-in mic as a dedicated talkback source, freeing up mic preamp inputs for recording
  • iD Software Mixer — configure low-latency direct monitoring, build up to two independent stereo artist cue mixes, name and customize channels, save layout presets, and set up advanced routing from a single application
  • Audio loopback — capture playback from multiple computer applications simultaneously alongside microphone inputs; create custom audio feeds for streaming, podcasting, and content creation
  • USB bus powered — no external power supply required; true +48V phantom power per channel available bus powered; USB 3.0 connection required
  • All-metal construction — hand-milled aluminium knobs; compact footprint suited for desktop and portable use
