The Audient iD48USB is a 24-in/32-out USB-C audio interface built around eight fully discrete Audient Console mic preamps—the same all-discrete, high-grade op-amp circuit design found in the ASP8024-HE recording console—delivering 68dB of gain with ultra-low noise, low distortion, and classic analogue warmth. Advanced 32-bit ESS DAC converter technology achieves 126.5dB of dynamic range, and the new Switchable Analogue Insert system provides eight fully balanced inserts via D-sub, with per-channel routing control that lets engineers choose whether the Audient mic preamp or a DAW output feeds the ADC path—without physically swapping cables. ADAT and S/PDIF optical I/O supports up to 16 channels of digital expansion, two independent headphone amps deliver 124dB dynamic range and drive loads up to 600 Ohms, and the iD Software Mixer supports up to four stereo artist cue mixes. At just over 17 inches wide with rack ears included and a fanless design, the iD48USB is built for both permanent studio installation and demanding location work.
