BURL Audio proudly introduces the BAD16, the latest BURL BLACK ADC Daughter Card for the BURL Audio B80 and B16 Motherships. The BAD16 offers 16 channels of class-A, transformer-coupled, all discrete transistor Analog to Digital Conversion. It utilizes the brand new BX8 transformer, designed for higher channel density, and incorporates BURL Audio’s latest NextGen analog section.
With its increased channel density, the BAD16 provides the exceptional class-A analog performance that BURL Audio is known for, now at a lower cost per ADC channel compared to the previous BURL GREEN ADC line. This makes the BAD16 an ideal 16-channel input solution for recording musicians and project studios seeking the superior fidelity of BURL Audio at an accessible price point. Additionally, in a B80 chassis, the BAD16 is perfect for those requiring high input channel counts, allowing up to 128 input channels in one B80 chassis when combined with a BMB2-MADI or BMB3-DANTE at 44.1kHz or 48kHz.
