Drawmer MC3.1 Monitor Controller

Drawmer MC3.1: Ultimate Control, Accurate & Transparent Monitoring

The Drawmer MC3.1 Monitor Controller builds on the success of the MC2.1, offering the same high level of accuracy and transparency with an expanded feature set. The MC3.1 faithfully reproduces what has been recorded without coloring the sound, featuring more inputs, better control, extended channel routing, and a convenient desktop wedge form factor.

The Ultimate Feature Set

The MC3.1 features a combined digital AES/SPDIF (24-bit/192kHz) input, giving a total of five individually switchable sources, including a front-panel auxiliary input with level control for easy connection of MP3 players, smartphones, or tablets. Full cue mix facilities with level control provide separate source selection for main or cue outputs and two headphone amplifiers, allowing an artist to listen to a completely different mix from the engineer. A dedicated cue mix output is also included for added flexibility.

Preset Volume Control for Consistency

A secondary preset volume control on the front panel allows for repeatable calibrated output levels for the monitors. This feature ensures that the engineer can listen to the mix at a predetermined volume time after time without meticulously adjusting the volume controls.

Comprehensive Connectivity

The MC3.1 features three stereo balanced speaker outputs, plus a dedicated mono speaker/sub-woofer output, each with individual left/right trims located underneath the unit for precise level matching. Each speaker output can be switched individually or simultaneously, allowing for versatile configurations, including listening to multiple speakers with the same sub-woofer or turning off the sub-woofer entirely.

Expanded Mix Checking Capabilities

Additional mix checking capabilities include low, mid, and high solo switches to help evaluate how different frequency ranges interact in the mix. The MC3.1 also features a left/right channel swap, built-in talkback with internal or external mic options, and footswitch operation for enhanced usability during sessions.

Tough & Secure Build Quality

With a rugged steel chassis and high-quality components, the MC3.1 is built to withstand the knocks and bumps of the studio environment. Its smart and stylish design, combined with its durability, ensures that it will last for years to come.

Accurate Sound Reproduction

For Drawmer monitor controllers, accuracy is paramount. The active circuit design of the MC3.1 faithfully reproduces the audio signal while eliminating issues commonly associated with passive circuits. You can rely on the MC3.1 for an accurate representation of your audio, ensuring that what you record is exactly what you hear.
