The Flock Audio Patch is Flock Audio’s flagship analog routing system, offering unparalleled creativity and flexibility for any studio environment. With front panel accessibility, LED indicators, USB connectivity, and DB-25 rear connections, the Patch system delivers professional-grade routing and seamless integration into your recording setup.
The Patch system comes equipped with 4 front panel connections: (2) XLR/TRS Combo inputs and (2) XLR outputs. These front panel connections allow users to quickly integrate outside audio equipment or instruments into their recording setup, providing easy access for creative workflows.
The Patch system features intuitive LED indicators for enhanced control:
The Patch system uses minimal CPU processing power to send and receive commands from the hardware, allowing your system to focus on more important tasks such as running your interface and DAW. The USB 2.0 and onwards compatibility ensures that the Patch system works seamlessly with your studio setup, providing a reliable and efficient connection.
The Patch system features DB-25/D-Sub connections on the rear chassis for a clean and organized form of connectivity. Utilizing the standard Tascam Wiring Pinout schematic, any DB-25/D-Sub cable following this format will work seamlessly with your system. Inputs & Outputs (31 – 32) can be flipped from the rear to the front chassis for added flexibility, allowing users to audition outside audio equipment without disconnecting already designated hardware.
Connect multiple Patch systems together for expanded I/O routing capabilities. The Patch system series has no A/D or D/A conversion built in, providing 100% analog signal paths. Users can connect multiple Patch systems together through existing onboard I/O in various configurations, whether it’s equal sends and returns, more sends than returns, or any configuration that suits your studio’s needs. Setup these connections right from the simple PATCH APP Multi-Unit Menu.
