The m701 Production Dante is a purpose-built configuration of the m701 modular audio interface platform, designed for professional studios and production environments that rely on Dante-based audio networking. Combining reference-grade AD/DA conversion with high-channel-count Dante connectivity, the Production Dante delivers the flexibility, scalability, and sonic transparency required for modern hybrid studios, post-production rooms, and multi-room facilities.
At its core, the m701 Production Dante is built around Grace Design’s uncompromising approach to analog and digital audio design. While today’s converter chips are highly capable, the surrounding analog circuitry, power supply architecture, and clocking ultimately define the sound. The m701 leverages decades of refinement in these areas, resulting in an interface that sounds open, detailed, and natural, even at high channel counts and under demanding production workloads.
This Production configuration prioritizes networked audio workflows, allowing audio to move seamlessly between rooms, workstations, and devices over standard Ethernet infrastructure. Whether used in a music production facility, broadcast environment, or immersive audio setup, the m701 Production Dante provides rock-solid performance with exceptionally low latency and intuitive system control.
With Dante connectivity at its core, the m701 Production Dante integrates effortlessly into existing audio-over-IP systems. High channel counts can be routed, shared, and expanded without complex cabling, making it easy to scale a studio as needs evolve. Dante also enables clean separation between control, audio transport, and monitoring paths—ideal for collaborative and multi-room workflows.
Configuration and operation are handled through GraceNet, the built-in web-based control platform. GraceNet runs directly in any modern browser with no software installation required, providing comprehensive access to routing, metering, cue mixing, and system setup from computers, tablets, or mobile devices. This makes day-to-day operation fast and intuitive for engineers, assistants, and artists alike.
A built-in 32×8 low-latency cue mixer supports multiple independent headphone mixes during tracking sessions. Each performer can access their own personalized mix using GraceNet on a personal device, reducing the need for external cue systems while maintaining near-zero latency monitoring.
