Grimm Audio’s LS1c is the flagship of the LS1 active loudspeaker series, redesigned from the ground up for reference-grade transparency and coherence. At its core is a revolutionary TPCD Carbon Composite tweeter—developed with Seas—that extends wide dispersion and integrates seamlessly with the mid/low driver. A new DSP platform with refined crossover phase-correction (informed by MU1/MU2 Pure Nyquist filter research), latest-generation amplification, computer-aided calibration, and updated control firmware/software work in concert to deliver a single, unified sonic image with exceptional microdynamics and timing. The result is lifelike stereo imaging, effortless detail retrieval, and a natural, non-fatiguing presentation suited for long listening sessions.

For full-range systems, the LS1c pairs elegantly with the SB1 Digital Motional Feedback subwoofer, whose feedback architecture reduces distortion by up to 30 dB and pushes system resonance below 20 Hz for bass that is tight, deep, and highly controlled. System control and source selection are available via the MU1 music player, or with the LS1r controller and LS1i USB interface. Finish options include Hi-Macs synthetic stone as well as bamboo veneer or lacquer.
