Grimm Audio LS1s Subwoofer (Stereo Set)

The Grimm Audio LS1s stereo subwoofers integrate seamlessly with the LS1 and LS1a loudspeakers, extending low-frequency response and transforming the system into a true three-way design. With the phase-corrected 70 Hz crossover already built into the LS1, adding the LS1s creates a fully phase-coherent system with linear bass extension down to 20 Hz. This allows the LS1 to reproduce the bottom octave with authority, adding realism and weight to classical music, film soundtracks, and bass-heavy productions while reducing system distortion at higher SPLs.

The LS1s subwoofers are elegantly designed to fit between the legs of the LS1, facing upward for compact integration, yet can also be removed and positioned independently for optimized low-frequency placement. To ensure uncompromising performance, Grimm Audio selected a premium Peerless woofer powered by a 400W Hypex Class-D amplifier. With linear extension and precision DSP control, the LS1s delivers detailed, controlled bass that perfectly complements the LS1’s renowned transparency and accuracy.
