This JZ Microphones Vintage V47 has been fully tested by our expert team and comes with a money back guarantee and lifetime support.
The JZ Microphones Vintage V47 is a handcrafted large-diaphragm cardioid condenser inspired by the classic Neumann U47 sound. It’s a modern take rather than a recreation, with a 25mm Golden Drop capsule and tube-free, transformerless Class A discrete electronics. It delivers a smooth, full, detailed tone with a natural warmth, and it handles loud sources well (134 dB max SPL, about 6 dB-A self-noise). That makes it a strong choice for vocals, with extra low end that also suits kick drum and upright bass. Its flask-shaped body has a built-in swivel mount for easy positioning. It runs on 48V phantom power and is made by hand in Latvia.
