Designed for Your Desk
The IN-UNF is engineered to work in harmony with your desk, using its surface as an integral part of the system’s acoustic design. The result is a perfectly clear and immersive audio experience, free from unwanted reflections or distortions.
The system consists of three main components:
- Bass Unit – Houses two high-excursion 4.5-inch woofers, an amplifier, and all input electronics.
- Two Satellite Speakers – Featuring the same high-performance coaxial midrange and tweeter found in Kali’s acclaimed IN-5 and IN-8 studio monitors.
The bass unit’s woofers are horizontally opposed, ensuring that no net vibration is transferred to the desk or anything placed on top of it. The satellite speakers are spherical and rest on silicone pads, allowing precise angle adjustments to ensure optimal listening positioning.

The IN-UNF is equipped with multiple inputs, making it compatible with a wide range of devices:
- USB-C – Supports 24-bit resolution at up to 48kHz for direct connection to computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Optical – Ideal for digital connections from televisions and gaming consoles.
- 3.5mm AUX – Unbalanced input for consumer audio devices.
- Balanced TRS – Professional-grade input for pro audio gear.
iOS devices with a Lightning connector require Apple’s Camera Adapter Kit (sold separately).
Customizable Setup & Placement
The IN-UNF offers multiple configuration options to fit your workspace:
- Vertical Placement – Save space by placing the bass unit upright with a monitor or laptop in front.
- Horizontal Placement – Use the bass unit as a monitor riser while keeping vibrations isolated.
DIP switches allow further customization based on desk positioning, whether against a wall, in a corner, or in an open space. Additionally, adjustable trim settings let you fine-tune the low, mid, and high frequencies (+/- 2 dB), with an optional +4 dB bass boost for enhanced low-end response.
