Lauten Audio Eden LT-386 Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone

The Lauten Audio Eden LT-386 is a multi-pattern tube condenser microphone that pairs Lauten Audio’s 38mm dual-diaphragm capsule and Multi-Voicing circuit path selector with an EF806s tube and a custom-wound, U.S.-made output transformer. Where the Atlantis FC-387 uses a FET circuit, the Eden LT-386 routes the capsule signal through a tube stage, adding the warmth and harmonic color of valve amplification before the transformer-balanced output. Three selectable polar patterns—cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8—and the Multi-Voicing switch give the Eden LT-386 a wide operational range across vocal and instrument applications. It ships in a rugged flight case with a dedicated power supply, 5-pin cable, and suspension mount.

Key Features

  • EF806s tube circuit — specialty tube stage in the signal path; adds the warmth and harmonic color characteristic of valve amplification; paired with a custom-wound, U.S.-made output transformer that processes the tube stage output before the balanced output
  • 38mm dual-diaphragm capsule — same physics-based 38mm design as the Atlantis FC-387; dual-diaphragm construction enables three selectable polar patterns
  • Multi-Voicing switch — selects between discrete analog circuit paths at the flip of a switch; changes the tonal character of the microphone without additional outboard processing or mic changes
  • Three selectable polar patterns — Cardioid, Omnidirectional, Figure-8
  • Custom-wound U.S.-made output transformer — transformer-balanced output; <200Ω output impedance; copper windings
  • Cerakote ceramic and nickel finish — durable ceramic polymer coating with nickel accents
  • Includes rugged flight case, PSU, 5-pin cable, and suspension mount — dedicated power supply is compatible from 100V to 240V; connects to the microphone via 5-pin XLR, with a separate 3-pin XLR from PSU to preamp
