The Lauten Audio LA-320 V2 is a transformer-balanced tube condenser microphone built around a hand-tuned 32mm center-terminated capsule and an ECC83 dual triode vacuum tube, hand-soldered with high-resolution polypropylene capacitors and resistors and a vintage-inspired output transformer. An onboard voicing switch selects between a warmer classic tube character and a clearer modern tube character, extending the LA-320 V2’s usable range across source types without changing microphones. High-pass and low-pass filter switches provide additional tonal shaping at the front end, and the custom capsule design imparts a gentle natural compression and tonal balance suited to sources that are traditionally difficult to record. The LA-320 V2 is designed and tested in Northern California and ships with a spider shock mount, dedicated power supply, and 5-pin cable.
