The Neutrik NC3MXX-B is a 3-pole XLR male cable connector featuring a black KTL-coated zinc diecast shell and gold-over-nickel contacts, representing Neutrik’s next-generation XX Series update to the globally adopted X Series standard. The improved locking recess eliminates the window opening of the previous design for a more robust housing, while the upgraded chuck-type strain relief provides higher pull-out resistance and faster assembly. A polyurethane boot gland protects the cable entry point from bending stress, and the internal shell thread is recessed to guard against damage during handling. With a 16A rated current per contact, max 14AWG wire capacity, and compatibility with cable ODs from 3.5 to 8.0mm, the NC3MXX-B handles the full range of professional audio cable assembly applications.
