The improved locking recess eliminates the window opening of the previous design for a more robust housing, while the upgraded chuck-type strain relief provides higher pull-out resistance and faster assembly. A polyurethane boot gland protects the cable entry point from bending stress, and the internal shell thread is recessed to guard against damage during handling. With a 16A rated current per contact, max 14AWG wire capacity, and compatibility with cable ODs from 3.5 to 8.0mm, the NC3MXX handles the full range of professional audio cable assembly applications.
