The Peluso P-12 Tube Microphone is a faithful recreation of AKG’s legendary C 12, widely regarded as one of the finest microphones in history. Produced between 1953 and 1963, the original C 12 was a pioneer in remote switching between nine polar patterns, made possible by its dual backplate, edge-terminated CK12 capsule. The Peluso P-12 captures the essence of the vintage C 12, with its 6072A glass triode vacuum tube amplifier stage and carefully designed circuitry. Known for its clarity, openness, and top-end air, the P-12 delivers the full-bodied, classic sound that has made the C 12 a favorite among vocalists and engineers alike.
