Instead of the traditional steel vacuum tube, it features a solid-state FET gain stage, providing a much lower noise floor and cleaner sound overall. The P-47 SS offers a wide dynamic range, capturing both subtle detail and powerful transients, making it perfect for everything from vocals and guitars to kick drums. Its classic single back plate dual-diaphragm capsule delivers a unique bell-shaped proximity effect, enhancing low-end frequencies for broadcast vocals, while an onboard 75Hz low-end roll-off tames this effect when not desired.
