The Peluso P-49 faithfully recreates the iconic sound and design of the vintage M 49, renowned for its richness and smooth high-end. Produced from 1949 to 1974, the M 49 became famous for its use on Miles Davis’ trumpet and the vocals of Simon and Garfunkel, and Barbara Streisand. The P-49 retains the remote-controlled 9-pattern selector, a hallmark of the original M 49, and features a slanted head grille design to reduce resonances. The 5744WB vacuum tube amplifier stage and custom-wound output transformer contribute to the vintage tonal character, offering mid-range detail and a warm, smooth high-end. Perfect for vocals, violin, or drums, the P-49 excels at delivering saturated warmth and detail, making it an exceptional vocal microphone.
