An innovative stereo backplane adapter allows two mono slots to be paired into a stereo slot, making it easy to integrate Rodec’s 100-series modules for stereo processing.

Performance-Ready Control with Scenes and FX

Designed with live performance in mind, the MX Modular features programmable mute and solo buttons that can be grouped into scenes for instant recall. A built-in digital FX module provides Rodec-engineered delay and reverb algorithms, routed intuitively via AUX 1 and AUX 2. With 99 customizable preset banks, effects can be dialed in and recalled effortlessly in both studio and live environments.

High-Headroom Master Output

The master output stage features discrete operational amplifiers paired with Lundahl transformers, delivering a balanced output with up to +28 dBu of headroom. This robust output design preserves clarity, depth, and punch—even at high levels—making the MX Modular equally reliable for tracking, mixing, and front-of-house duties.

Integrated USB-C Interface for Hybrid Setups

Bridging analog warmth with digital flexibility, the MX Modular includes a built-in, class-compliant USB-C interface offering 18 inputs and 18 outputs. Powered by premium AKM ADCs and ESS DACs, the interface enables low-latency, multi-channel audio streaming to and from computers or other class-compliant hosts—ideal for modern hybrid workflows.
