The 5059 Satellite is a 16-channel summing mixer designed to bridge the gap between digital convenience and analog character. Built around the same Class-A topologies and custom transformer designs found in the flagship 5088 console, the 5059 delivers the warmth, depth, and “out-of-the-box” sonics that have defined professional recording for decades. Rupert Neve Designs engineered this unit to give engineers complete control over two separate stem mixes, allowing for complex routing and a level of harmonic density that is impossible to achieve within a computer alone.
Dual Stereo Outputs: Unlike standard summing mixers, the 5059 features two independent stereo output buses (Stereo 1 and Stereo 2). This allows for the creation of two separate stem mixes that can be processed and saturated differently before being combined.
Class-A Transformer Topologies: To minimize crossover distortion and maximize musicality, Rupert Neve Designs utilizes +/-24V Class-A circuits and custom-wound transformers that provide a larger-than-life sound with remarkable purity.
Variable Silk and Texture: Each stereo output features independent Silk Red and Silk Blue modes. Silk Red enhances transformer saturation in the high-mids and highs for a vibrant vintage sheen, while Silk Blue accentuates the low-mids and lows for added thickness and weight.
Flexible Channel Control: Every one of the 16 channels includes individual level controls, center-detent pan pots, and Stereo-2 sends, providing the tactile feel and routing flexibility of a large-format analog console.
Integrated Channel Inserts: The 5059 features “always on” insert sends and switchable insert returns on every channel. This streamlines the integration of analog outboard gear and allows for recording individual tracks and a summed mix simultaneously.
Professional Expandability: Rupert Neve Designs designed the 5059 to be the core of a modular system. Multiple units can be linked to increase channel counts or used alongside the 5060 Centerpiece to create a world-class analog mixing environment.
Elite Headroom and Noise Performance: With a maximum output level of +26dBu and an exceptionally low noise floor, the 5059 ensures that the most dynamic mixes are captured with total clarity and impact.
