The RNDI-M brings the stunning tone and clarity of its award-winning counterparts to a compact, pedalboard-friendly format. By housing the electronics in a rugged, streamlined chassis, Rupert Neve Designs has made its uncompromised sonic power accessible for musicians and engineers who need a smaller footprint without sacrificing quality. Featuring the exact same custom transformers and discrete FET input stage as the best-selling RNDI series, the RNDI-M delivers a lifelike, vibrant sound that brings instruments to life.
Signature Rupert Neve Tone: The RNDI-M utilizes a custom-wound output transformer and a Class-A, discrete FET amplifier. This combination provides exceptional passive isolation while adding musical harmonics and dimension to the signal.
Massive Bandwidth and Headroom: With a frequency response that remains flat from below 5Hz to beyond 90kHz, the RNDI-M captures a thunderous low-end and sparkling highs. Its +20.5 dBu input headroom allows it to handle high-output instruments, synthesizers, and professional line-level sources with ease.
Low-Impedance Drive: The transformer-coupled output stage maintains a low impedance (below 40 Ohms), allowing the unit to drive long cable runs—even over 100 feet—with minimal loss in high-frequency detail.
Class-A Discrete Circuitry: The discrete design ensures that zero crossover distortion is added to the signal. The resulting harmonic content is a musical combination of 2nd and 3rd order harmonics that enhance the richness of the original performance.
Versatile Source Compatibility: With a 2.2 Megohm discrete FET input stage, the RNDI-M provides consistent, high-end performance for electric guitars, basses, keyboards, piezo pickups, and drum machines.
Built for the Road: Rupert Neve Designs utilized a rugged, solid steel chassis to ensure the RNDI-M can withstand the severe stresses of professional touring and daily studio use.
Simplified Professional Controls: The unit features a 1/4″ THRU output for connecting to an on-stage amplifier and a rear-panel Ground Lift switch to quickly resolve grounding issues in complex rigs.
