Introducing the Shadow Hills Providence Edition Mastering Compressor: the pinnacle of Shadow Hills’ dual-stage compression architecture, featuring a bespoke engraved design and enhanced with exclusive features for maximum creative control. This all-Class A discrete design combines two compressors in series capable of operating in stereo or dual mono: a mastering-grade electro-luminescent optical compressor and a discrete Class A VCA compressor. Lundahl input transformers provide the foundation for pristine signal path integrity, while three switchable output transformers (Nickel, Iron, Steel) offer subtle yet distinct tonal character at the final stage.

The Providence Edition’s defining feature is a hardware insert point between compression stages, accessed via front-panel toggle and rear XLR connections, enabling integration of external EQ or processing between compressors. With six ratios, six attack times, six release settings, sidechain filtering, and enough gain to drive tape or converters into saturation, this unit delivers the legendary Shadow Hills sound with unprecedented routing flexibility.

Lead time approximately 2-4 weeks. Each unit is made specifically for the new owner and includes a personalized name plate for the individual or studio name.
