Thermionic Culture Kite All-Valve Stereo Equalizer with Attitude

The Thermionic Culture Kite is an all-valve stereo equalizer that brings the Attitude harmonic distortion control and tonal character of the Fat Bustard summing mixer to a dedicated two-channel EQ format. All controls operate over both stereo channels simultaneously, with the exception of the independent Output Trim controls—which include –6dB switches—allowing fine level matching between channels. The EQ section covers HPF, Bass Boost and Cut, Top Shelf, and AIR, with Bass Boost and Bass Cut each offering two selectable frequencies that can be used simultaneously to create a mid-cut effect. The AIR control enhances the very top of the frequency range with the clear yet warm character unique to all-valve designs. The Attitude switch adds 2nd harmonic content at the output stage, the same harmonic character that defines Thermionic Culture’s signature sound.
