WesAudio ngLeveler
The ngLEVELER, also known as the “Next Generation Leveler,” is an advanced analog automation system designed for seamless studio integration. In addition to its automation engine, it provides analog saturation on each channel, giving tracks more presence and depth in the mix. The ngLEVELER itself has no physical controls and is managed through a DAW plug-in, a HUI controller, or a combination of both, offering easy fader control with full total recall via the DAW plug-in. Designed to be a central tool in the studio, its simple analog connectivity makes it versatile and adaptable to a wide range of applications.
Main Features
- 16 channels of analog automation with total recall.
- +25dBu (IN) / +28dBu (OUT) headroom for optimal signal processing.
- 6dB passive attenuator (PAD) for managing high-level signals.
- Very low noise and distortion – THD+N < 0.01%.
- MUTE and SOLO functionality for each channel.
- HUI controller integration for streamlined control.
- 16 channels of Proprietary THD, providing analog saturation.
- IN and OUT metering for monitoring before and after signal leveling.
- Flexible DAW/Live plug-in for control and automation.
- DB-25 analog connectivity for easy studio integration.
- Ethernet or USB connection options for flexible operation.
Analog Sound, Digital Control
Despite its digital control features, the ngLeveler is a fully analog unit, ensuring rich, warm sound with the convenience of digital automation and recall.
Streamlined Analog Signal Automation and Recall
The ngLeveler allows for seamless integration with your DAW, offering precise automation with total recall for every session. It also supports advanced features like Opposite Quad Channel Link, which links two stereo channels inversely, ideal for maintaining consistent levels when driving stereo analog units.
Monitoring
- MUTE: Mutes the selected channel, preventing any signal from passing through.
- SOLO: Activates solo mode, allowing only the soloed channel to be heard while others are muted, unless explicitly soloed or in solo safe mode.
Trim Mode
Trim mode allows for fine adjustments to the level of each channel within a limited range of -10dB to +5dB, offering high-resolution control for precise sound shaping.
Channel Groups
Assign each channel to one of four groups to link all parameters within the group. You can also disable certain parameters from grouping if desired.
Convenient Connectivity
- ANALOG: DB-25 for analog audio connectivity.
- DIGITAL CONTROL: USB or Ethernet for easy control via DAW or live plug-in.
THD – Add Color to Your Mixes
Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) introduces analog warmth and saturation to your signal, adding subtle harmonic richness for a musical and pleasing sound. The ngLeveler offers THD on each channel, enhancing the overall character of your mixes.
Analog Automation
Draw automation lines in your DAW to control analog device settings dynamically. You can also record automation directly into your DAW using your HUI controller, making it easy to fine-tune settings for different sections of your track.
