We’re a team of trusted audio professionals who’ve spent years - often decades - immersed in the gear, studios, and relationships that define the pro audio world. Whether we came from the console, the stage, or the showroom floor, we share one belief: great sound starts with the right tools, and the right people behind them.

Jeff Ehrenberg
CEO and Founder & Senior Consultant
Jeffrey Ehrenberg is the Founder and CEO of both Providence Sound and Vision, an employee-owned dealer of high end and vintage recording equipment, and its affiliate, Sound Vision Works, a distribution and marketing agency specializing in the business development, brand growth, and sales of professional recording equipment. An engineer, musician and experienced executive, Ehrenberg’s entrepreneurial spirit creates the cornerstone for both companies, building upon his twenty-five years of experience in music and entertainment.

While Ehrenberg is known industry-wide for building such brands as Audio Test Kitchen, Vintage King Audio, and GRAMMY Award-winning studio Infrasonic Mastering, his introduction to business and sales began at the family dinner table. Ehrenberg’s parents, owners of Carmel’s prestigious Atelier Gallery, often discussed work at home, paying particular attention to the nuance of blending fine art and sales. Ehrenberg worked in the gallery from the age of six and witnessed firsthand what it takes to run a business in the arts.
Ehrenberg’s own creative pursuits began in high school when he and his bandmates self-recorded on an 8-track reel to reel setup in Ehrenberg’s garage. In 1995, Ehrenberg, on drums, formed the band The Starlite Desperation. The band released a series of 7-inches and played regionally, ultimately relocating to Detroit in 1999. By day, Ehrenberg oversaw Lighting Direction for Chase Creative working with such clients as the MGM Casino, Dodge Motor Sports, and the Democratic Party of Michigan. Simultaneously, The Starlite Desperation’s success continued, and Ehrenberg became a key player in the Detroit Music scene. Brothers Mike and Andrew Nehra commissioned Ehrenberg to play drums in their band, Chrome Flies, and opened the door to their recording studio, The White Room.
Through his work at The White Room, Ehrenberg had access to an impressive collection of boutique and vintage recording equipment. The quality and sheer quantity of the gear elevated his work as an engineer and producer, and the industry took notice. In 2003, The Starlite Desperation was offered a deal with Capitol Records and Ehrenberg and his bandmates relocated to Los Angeles, just as the Nehra brothers got their modest equipment resale outfit, Vintage King Audio, off the ground in Michigan.
While prepping to record a debut LP for Capitol with engineer/producer Jason Carmer, Ehrenberg sold a small selection of gear from the trunk of his car, effectively becoming Vintage King’s only Los Angeles sales rep. What started as a way to pay the bills quickly demonstrated Ehrenberg’s natural aptitude for sales and exhaustive work ethic. Armed with a phone book, list of studios and a few choice pieces of gear, Ehrenberg’s industry connections and reputation for reliability grew. As a result, so did Vintage King.
In 2004, having officially signed to Capitol Records, Ehrenberg met fellow engineer Pete Lyman. The pair joined forces to create Infrasonic Sound Recording Company, a 16/24 track recording studio and adjacent audio and vinyl mastering facility. Built by the duo in what was once a motorcycle paint shop, Ehrenberg’s ear for acoustic construction and growing gear list proved to be a major asset, attracting such clients as No Age, The Mars Volta and Beck in the studio’s early years. Infrasonic became the Los Angeles hub for Vintage King Audio and the brands grew in tandem.
By 2012, Ehrenberg ushered both Infrasonic and Vintage King from fledgling startups to the reputable names in audio they are today. Both companies had outgrown their modest El Sereno studio space and relocated to 1176 Sunset in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. With Ehrenberg at the helm of project management, the custom-built facility included Infrasonic Mastering’s studios and dedicated vinyl cutting room, and Vintage King’s one-of-a-kind retail space, showroom and critical listening room spanning the first floor. Ehrenberg and his growing team of sales consultants created a wholly unique retail experience for the audio industry, with demonstrable success. During Ehrenberg’s tenure with the company, his clients included Google, Meta and Warner Music, to name a select few. Ehrenberg became Vintage King Audio’s highest grossing consultant – a title he still holds – managing over $400 million in sales.
After twenty years of developing someone else’s brand, Ehrenberg knew it was time to build his own.
In 2023, with co-owners Thomas O’Connor and Brian Gross, Ehrenberg founded Providence Sound and Vision. In Providence’s first year of operation, Ehrenberg consigned consoles and premium equipment collections for industry giants like Tony Maserati, Scott Litt, Ross Hogarth, Emile Haynie and Andrew Wyatt, to name a few. With an eye toward company growth, Ehrenberg developed Providence Sound and Vision’s multimedia consulting branch, working with leaders in hospitality on acoustic design and audio system installations. Ehrenberg and the Providence team ensure the acoustics of such spaces as The Regent and newly renovated Gold Diggers match the aesthetics, utilizing their decades of design experience and meticulously curated catalog of equipment.
As their catalog grew, Providence Sound and Vision forged authentic partnerships with the brands they dealt, Providence’s end-users, and their burgeoning staff of employee shareholders. To maximize certain brands’ potential, Ehrenberg recognized a need to work with additional pro audio dealers in the U.S. This expansion required a level of transparency that became the main tenet of Sound Vision Works’ distribution services, upon its establishment in 2024.
Ehrenberg’s emphasis on equity, credibility and creative exploration creates the ethos of both Providence Sound and Vision and Sound Vision Works. Having engaged career musicians, engineers and producers on staff, Ehrenberg fosters a community of like-minded professionals with a singular vision: to understand and reach for each client’s artistic goals while amplifying the brilliance and innovation of every audio brand they represent.

Brian’s interest in audio began in childhood, when, at the age of ten, he soldered an FM radio transmitter and broadcast a pirate radio station to his California neighborhood. He followed this trajectory to the University of Miami’s Electrical Engineering program with a minor in music, based on a thesis paper that examined how speaker technology could make gas vehicles energy efficient. While Gross excelled in the major, the pull of music was irrefutable. He had decades of experience playing bass and worked as an apprentice luthier for Rob Allen Guitars in high school; both offered a creative outlet that Gross was searching for in his coursework.
Gross switched majors to Music Engineering and accepted an audio design internship at Toshiba, where he had five patents pending that focused on audio technology. Simultaneously, Brian’s career as a musician and engineer gained momentum. He established Great Wave Studios in 2016, and his band, Mint Trip, was signed to indie label Blue Elan Records. The band spent every penny of its advance at El Dorado Studios in Burbank, where they wrote, tracked, and mixed a 13-song full-length.
With Mint Trip’s debut release wrapped, Brian set out to find a career that capitalized on his technical skillset and growing expertise in audio engineering. In 2017, a cold call to British Audio Engineering set the wheel in motion, beginning with a position in the company’s quality control department. One year later, after contacting Vintage King Audio – also with a cold call – Gross accepted a job in sales with the recording equipment retailer. Thanks to his technical aptitude and engineering experience, not to mention his extreme ease with cold calls, Brian was promoted to Senior Audio Sales Consultant and ultimately became one of the company’s highest grossing sales consultants, all within five years.
Having achieved his professional goals at Vintage King Audio, Brian left the company to pursue other opportunities. After a serendipitous meeting with Jeffrey Ehrenberg and Thomas O’Conor, Brian was pulled back into the world of pro audio sales, co-founding Providence Sound and Vision in 2023.
As a Senior Audio Consultant for Providence Sound and Vision, Brian focuses on creating the most efficient and creatively rewarding experience for each customer. His hands-on work ranges from full studio design to ProTools workflows and system tuning. Notably, Gross managed the design and build-out of Ardent Studios’ Atmos Room, one of the largest in the Nation. Working closely with studio President Mark XXXX, Brian honored the rich legacy of Ardent while modernizing its outfit with a multi-speaker, immersive Atmos system.
He continues to mix select projects in his free time and lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Navon Weisberg
Senior Consultant
Navon Weisberg is the Senior Sales Consultant for Providence Sound and Vision, an employee-owned dealer of high-end and vintage recording equipment. Weisberg brings over a decade of audio sales and engineering to his role. His genuine enthusiasm for recording and commitment to helping clients achieve their dreams in-studio is unparalleled.

Weisberg relocated from Arizona to Los Angeles in 2009 and quickly familiarized himself with the many recording studios in the city. With a degree in audio engineering, he accepted a position at Bomb Shelter Studios during his first year in L.A. After a six-season stint as a ProTools engineer for The Voice, Weisberg landed at Henson Recording Studios in 2012.
As part of the House Staff at Henson, Weisberg assisted on a variety of marquee sessions, from setup to breakdown. Through this work, Weisberg heard the nuance of each piece of recording equipment and witnessed firsthand how different engineers integrated the gear into their workflow. Weisberg soon realized that his true passion lay in helping other professionals shape their sound.
In 2013, Weisberg reached out to equipment retailer Vintage King Audio, and landed a job with the company the same year. Weisberg became one of Vintage King’s leading sales consultants in quick succession, thanks in large part to his own work as an engineer. Having established his studio, Tinnitus Recordings, in 2014, Weisberg would demo gear in his off hours. He poured over instruction manuals to familiarize himself with each unit’s inner workings, developing his own sound and discography. Weisberg has produced, tracked, and mixed projects for artists including Days Between Stations, Ministry, and White Sun, to name a select few.
This technical understanding shaped not only his sessions, but every step of his clients’ experience: from sharing files of his work to help a client decide on a sale, to troubleshooting a new piece of gear at 3 am when technical support was unavailable.
It is this hands-on, authentic relationship with the equipment as well as his clients that harmonizes so well with Providence Sound and Vision. In 2023, after a successful 10-year run at Vintage King, Weisberg made the move to Providence. As Senior Sales Consultant, he oversees not just client purchasing and customer experience, but also larger studio build-outs and installations. Each job receives the singular level of care and technical precision Weisberg is known for. Weisberg continues to work with leaders in the professional audio space, including SSL and Burl Audio, both at Providence Sound and Vision and Tinnitus Recordings.
