The HEDD Audio TYPE 07 A-CORE is a 2-way active nearfield monitor that brings a pure analog signal path to small and medium studio environments without the latency or software dependency of DSP-based systems. A 7-inch custom honeycomb woofer crosses over to HEDD’s Air Motion Transformer tweeter at 2,200 Hz, extending frequency response from 38 Hz to 50 kHz through a tuned analog filter board voiced for natural, uncolored reproduction. The larger woofer and 116 dB SPL ceiling give the TYPE 07 A-CORE more low-end authority and headroom than its compact sibling, making it equally suited to recording sessions, home studio mixing, and ceiling-level Atmos configurations. Balanced XLR and TRS inputs alongside unbalanced RCA, front-panel shelving EQ, and a physical standby switch keep the workflow straightforward from the moment it’s connected.
