Founded in Berlin in 2015 by physicist Klaus Heinz and his son Dr. Frederik Knop, HEDD Audio builds studio monitors, subwoofers, and headphones around a single mission: complete accuracy and outstanding signal fidelity. Klaus Heinz spent five decades studying acoustics and pioneering the use of Air Motion Transformer (AMT) technology in professional audio, including two decades at ADAM Audio. HEDD continues that legacy, applying AMT to both speakers and the HEDDphone, the world’s first full-range AMT headphone, for producers, mixing engineers, and mastering professionals who need to hear exactly what is on the recording.
