The HEDD Audio TYPE 07 MK2 is a 2-way active nearfield monitor that combines HEDD’s hand-built Air Motion Transformer tweeter with a 7-inch honeycomb woofer and a full 96 kHz / 32-bit SHARC DSP platform for flexible, precise monitoring in home studios and professional environments alike. Frequency response extends from 38 Hz to 40 kHz — and to 30 Hz in LFE mode — with Closed or Ported switching, HEDD Lineariser zero-phase filtering, and the complete suite of room and system correction tools managed through CTRL software. At 116 dB SPL per pair, the TYPE 07 MK2 carries the output and DSP control of the larger MK2 monitors in a compact footprint suited to nearfield listening positions and ceiling-level Atmos installations. Analog XLR and AES/EBU digital inputs with daisy-chain pass-through, plus full linear-phase integration with HEDD BASS 08 subwoofers, make it a capable foundation for both stereo and multi-channel systems.
